My name is Alison, and I am a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. My sessions are online via a secure, private video platform, so you can access therapy in your own home or wherever you would like to talk.
My aim is to help my clients live more fulfilling and happy lives, whatever their difficulties. I work with you to meet your goals, offering you support and respect for your autonomy and individuality.
I help those who ‘never feel good enough’, those who feel alone, those who feel they cannot cope, those struggling to accept a life event they did not choose, and those striving to break out of damaging patterns of behaviour. However bad life gets, I do all I can to help you bring about the change you seek.
I pride myself on my non-judgemental stance and inclusive approach. My areas of knowledge and experience range from neurodiversity (autism and ADHD) to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement, relationship difficulties, emotional abuse, trauma and more. I work with adults aged over 18 and with both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients.
